Ear of the Lion
Ear of the Lion is a Lions Clubs hearing foundation that works with needy people who are hearing-impaired. They also provide medical, surgical, and audiological services to individuals upon referral.
The foundation supports research and education in the field of hearing, hoping to discover new treatments and programs to prevent of hearing loss.
Union City Lions Club programs:
- We provide referral for aid from Ear of the Lion. If you know of a needy person who needs a hearing aid or other assistance, and does not have the funds or insurance to cover the cost,

Our Ear of the Lion Coordinator will work with you to complete a referral to the Foundation for assistance. (Please note: All requests must go through our local Club representative.)
- We collect used hearing aids locally, and send them to Ear of the Lion for refurbishment and recycling to provide aid for others.
