Annual Senior Thanksgiving Dinner

Lions-Club-031 For over 30 years, the Lions Club has hosted a Thanksgiving Dinner for the seniors in our community. We serve about 400 people every year. In recent years, the dinners have included a live performance by the U.S.H. Hornet Big Band - perfect for dancing after the feast.

The turkeys are donated by Tri-CED Community Recycling and roasted by the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The Lions cook and serve the meal, and we have a lot of help from the James Logan High School Leos Club when it comes to serving. This is truly an "all hands on deck" event, and definitely a lot of fun for everyone involved.

How to request assistance:

Contact the Lions President or Secretary to discuss your need.
Present the request to the Board of Directors at the next monthly meeting.
The Board reviews the request to confirm that it is compatible with our mission and that resources are available.
The Board then makes a decision and notifies you.
