Senior Thanksgiving Dinner

Annual Senior Thanksgiving Dinner

Lions-Club-031For over 30 years, the Lions Club has hosted a Thanksgiving Dinner for the seniors in our community. We serve about 400 people every year. In recent years, the dinners have included a live performance by the U.S.H. Hornet Big Band - perfect for dancing after the feast.

The turkeys are donated by Tri-CED Community Recycling and roasted by the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The Lions cook and serve the meal, and we have a lot of help from the James Logan High School Leos Club when it comes to serving. This is truly an "all hands on deck" event, and definitely a lot of fun for everyone involved.
